Vacuum Furnace Products:
A vacuum furnace is a piece of equipment that allows for the heating and treatment of materials at high temperatures, characterised by the ability to carry out heat treatment in an oxygen-free or low-pressure environment to achieve specific improvements in the properties of the material. Vacuum furnaces are widely used in the treatment and manufacturing of metals, ceramics, electronic components and other materials.
Structural Components of Vacuum Furnaces:
Vacuum furnaces usually consist of a furnace body, a heating element, a vacuum system and a temperature control system. The furnace body is made of high-temperature materials that can withstand high-temperature environments. The heating elements are usually electric, radiant or electron beam heaters, which provide the required heating energy. The vacuum system consists of vacuum pumps, vacuum gauges and gas adding devices, which can expel the gas from the furnace body and add other gases when needed. The temperature control system can monitor and control the temperature inside the furnace in real time to maintain the stability of the heating process.
Main features of vacuum furnaces:
1、The pressure in the furnace chamber can be pumped into an industrial furnace below atmospheric pressure.
2、Vacuum furnace with electric heating, the heated surface of the workpiece does not oxidise, no decarburisation, small deformation, good mechanical properties.
3、Melting metal with vacuum furnace is conducive to removing impurities, the finished product has fewer pinholes, small segregation, good quality.
Scope of application of vacuum furnace:
Vacuum furnaces are suitable for melting and heating of high-quality, high-purity, refractory metals, e.g. for the smelting of tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, niobium, titanium, heat-resistant alloy steels and for the heat treatment of magnetic materials, electrotechnical materials, high-strength steels, stainless steels, tool steels, mould steels and so on.
