Introduction to water-cooled cables for medium frequency furnaces:

The water-cooled cable for IF furnace is made of stranded copper wires at both ends of the electrodes, and the structure is rotary joints, which can be adjusted at any angle during on-site installation, and the connecting plane with the equipment has been processed by grinding and tin-plating, which is smooth and not easy to be oxidised and ensures a good electrical contact performance. When transmitting medium frequency current, there is no surface skin effect, high efficiency of power transmission and low heat generation; the enamelled wire is softened, and the stress on the connection part with the electrode is small, so that the electrode of the water-cooled cable and the connection part of the flexible wire will not break when the furnace is repeatedly tilted and inverted.

The production equipment is configured with: 

1, CNC lathe and milling machine, used to process all kinds of electrodes (cable head); 

2, large microcomputer numerical control winding machine, winding different cross-section, different lengths of water-cooled cable flexible conductor: its cross-section in the range of 25 ~ 6000 square millimetres; length in the range of 0.3 ~ 70 metres, can meet the needs of different users; 

3. Highly automated assembly lines for water-cooled cables; 

4、With water pressure resistance and voltage resistance testing equipment. There is a perfect quality assurance system.

The performance characteristics of water-cooled cables for medium frequency furnaces are as follows: 

1, the electrode (also called cable head) is no contact, no soldering, no welding, with the whole copper bar in the CNC lathe, milling machine processing and become, beautiful, durable; electrode and wire connection, the use of cold extrusion, do not hurt the line, resistance is small. 

2, the jacket tube, choose high quality hose, water pressure > 0.8MPA, breakdown voltage is higher than 3000 V. Another flame retardant jacket tube for users to choose on special occasions; 

3, the electrode and the fastening of the outer casing, 500mm2 cable below the selection of copper clamps, the other selection of 1Cr18Ni9Ti material hoops, non-magnetic, non-rust; with large hydraulic equipment extrusion fastening, beautiful, durable, sealing effect is good; 

4、Soft conductor is made of fine enamelled wire processed on special winding machine. Soft, small bending radius, large effective cross-section; 

5, the use of enamelled wire for water-cooled cable, high efficiency of electrical energy transmission. Because of the insulation between each enamelled wire, conduct medium and high frequency current, no surface skin effect, compared with other water-cooled cables with the same cross-section, through the same current, less heat; 

6, with enamelled wire for water-cooled cable wire, can improve the service life of water-cooled cable. Water-cooled cable conductors are immersed in water for a long time, the working environment is very harsh. In the past, we used bare copper wire to make water-cooled cable, when the water-cooled cable is used for a period of time, open the cable jacket, you will see a layer of green patina on the surface of the wire.
