First of all: understand the characteristics and principles of intermediate frequency melting furnace

Medium frequency melting furnace is mainly composed of induction coil, capacitor, induction furnace body and water cooling equipment. It heats the metal scrap to the melting point by induction heating, and then pours the molten metal into the mould for cooling to get the recycled metal.

After the mould has been poured, rapid cooling is required to promote crystallisation and solidification of the metal.

Rapid cooling creates a dense grain structure on the surface of the molten metal and improves the strength and wear resistance of the recycled metal.

Step 5: Handling and processing the recycled metal

The cooled recycled metal product is removed from the mould and cleaned and removed from the surface to remove impurities such as oxides. Depending on the quality requirements of the recycled metal, further treatment, such as heat treatment and shot blasting cleaning, can be carried out.
